Tyga & Avril Lavigne Reportedly Breakup After Few Months Of Relationship

Tyga and Avril Lavigne have decided to call it quits after spending months together in a whirlwind musical romance — but apparently they’re still friends.

According to TMZ, Lavigne, who has just wrapped up her most recent tour, and Tyga mutually parted ways a few weeks ago. But while their romantic relationship has ended, there are no hard feelings between the pair.

While they were together, Tyga spared no expense to show his love for the Canadian singer. In March, TMZ reported that the Compton native gifted Lavigne a custom diamond chain worth thousands. The piece is the work of a celebrity jeweler Eric Mavani, aka Eric Da Jeweler.

Based out of New York, Eric told TMZ at the time that the chain — which features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds and pink sapphires — was worth nearly $80,000.

In February, the pair were spotted running around town together in California, leading to rumors they were dating. Their relationship was later confirmed after the two were spotted sharing a kiss at a party during Paris Fashion Week.

According to Page Six, T-Raww and the “Complicated” singer were seen packing on the PDA at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer party in Paris.

The pair didn’t have any issue holding hands and kissing in front of others as they attended the Ottolinger show earlier that month. Around that same time, Tyga and Lavigne also attended a party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Following a month of rumors, the couple made their union Instagram official, after the rapper shared a series of photos from the fashion show, including one of the pair snuggling up together.

“Shout out to Dallas,” Tyga captioned the Instagram pic in March, which showed the newly minted couple sporting all-black attire while in Texas.

Among Tyga’s previous relationships are Blac Chyna, with whom he shares his 10-year-old son King Cairo; Kylie Jenner; Iggy Azalea; Bella Poarch; Amina Blue; Tammy Hembrow; Sophia Body; Jordan Craig; and Camaryn Swanson.

In other related news, Tyga and YG teased their upcoming joint album with their fourth collaborative track, “Platinum.”

Both MCs hail from the city of Compton which made their rap chemistry undeniable on the new single. The track comes with a visual package that pays homage to the Golden State and all its cultural gems.

From San Francisco to Los Angeles, the video features Tyga and YG turning up in front of landmark sites such as the Golden Gate Bridge and So-Fi Stadium. Most notably, the closing shot shows a mural of the late Mac Dre.
